Local clothing maker Dana Opalinsky will lead us through the process of making a pajama set from a Closet Core pattern.  A great way to learn the basics of sewing clothes from a pattern and also making something comfy!

Elevate your lounging and sleeping game with the Fran Pajamas. Featuring tailored details with a slouchy fit, they look just as good in bed as they do glammed up and on the town.

  • The Fran top features a shirt collar, cuffed sleeve, back yoke, inverted back pleat, and button loop at the neck.
  • The Fran pants feature a straight leg with a slightly paperbagged elastic waist, optional drawstring, inseam pockets, and back pocket.

Please note this pattern is available in Alpha Sizing, a new addition to our size ranges.  This pattern spans from XXS (31" bust, 33" hip) to 4X (60" bust, 62" hip).

Sizes: XXS-4X

Required Materials:
- (1) Pattern: Fran Pajamas by Closet Core (available for purchase)
- 1 yd of Pellon 906F Sheerweight Fusible Interfacing
- 2 yds of 1.5" wide elastic
- (5) 3/8"-1/2" wide buttons
- optional drawstring: 1-1/2 to 2 yds of fabric, twill tape or cording
- (1) spool of coordinating thread
- fabric - yardage is dependent on the size of garment being made; please refer to the pattern for accurate sizing information.  The pattern accommodates sizes XXS-4X.

Your fabric should be washed and ironed, and your paper pattern pieces (not the fabric) should be cut before coming to the class.

You will need to bring your own sewing machine and have working knowledge of your machine.  Make sure to bring thread, bobbins, your power cord, pins, etc.
