This is intended for kids aged 6th - 12th grade, who have some working knowledge of crochet and knitting and want to come hang out at the informal Maker's space of Cottonwood with others who enjoy crocheting and knitting. This is a drop off event. Parents do not need to stay. In fact, we have timed it with the help of middle schoolers, so they can walk from the local middle school to the store.
Bring your projects and work for two hours on whatever crochet or knit project you want. Gift certificates are available for purchase as well if you would like them to be able to purchase yarn or other supplies while they are there. A 10% discount applies to purchases made during club hours.
We have snacks and drinks available for purchase at the store if they need something after school.
Note to parents: We want the kids to have fun! But please let them know that appropriate behavior is expected. They will not be able to leave the store, other than our front porch area if they want to work outside during nice weather.
Our booking app allows you to pick one week at a time. Please book multiple days if you want your young adult to come every week. Thanks!
