T-shirt Quilt Class

T-shirt quilts make great gifts.  They aren't necessarily complicated but do have some tricks to make them easier.  Learn the tricks and techniques you need to make your own t-shirt quilt top. 

For class you will need:

• A cutting mat, rotary cutter and quilt ruler (suggested size is 6" x 18")
• A working sewing machine with which you are familiar (bring 1/4" sewing foot, power cord, thread, loaded bobbin, etc)
• Lightweight Stabilizer like Pellon 911FF (4 yards x 20")
• 1 yard of coordinating fabric for sashing (fabric between the t-shirts and on the borders)

Come to class with at least 12 t-shirts you wish to incorporate into a basic 50 x 66 lap quilt.
