Learn how to sew your new favorite shirt- The Remy Raglan Top! This is a relaxed fit basic top using woven fabric that can be dressed up or down. Creating a perfect new staple for your closet.
The pattern features multiple variations and sleeve lengths. This class will be focusing on version #2 (the split front) with your choice of short sleeves or ¾ sleeves. Version #1 can be made if preferred; however, that means you might not use the full class time as scheduled.
During this class students will learn basic garment construction and french seams. This class is ideal for advance beginner to intermediate. Students must have prior sewing experience and can confidently thread and operate their own sewing machine.
For the Remy Raglan, choose a lightweight woven fabric. If unsure, Cottonwood has several wovens to choose from and would be more than happy to help! Keep in mind, the sleeves are rolled up, and the wrong side will be visible at those parts. Fabric must be pre-washed, dried, and pressed before start of first class.
