Welcome to the "Choose Your Own Adventure" Block of the Month Club!
Are you looking for a fun, motivating way to work on your quilting projects without the rigid structure of a single prescribed pattern? Our new Block of the Month club is designed for the modern quilter who loves variety and community support!
This is a flexible program where you get to bring any block of the month projects, bringing your personal projects to the table while enjoying the shared experience and accountability of a club.

How It Works
This club is all about flexibility and progress on your own terms.
  • Pick Your Project: You are in the driver's seat! Select any block pattern, kit or block of the month subscription from our extensive in-store library, find one online (like those available through Moda Blockheads or Freespirit Fabrics or We All Sew by Bernina), or use one from your own stash.
  • Monthly Meet-Ups: We will gather monthly to work on our chosen blocks, share progress, ask for advice, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow quilters.
  • Show & Tell: Each month is a chance to show off your completed block(s) and get inspiration from what others are creating.
  • Expert Support: Our shop experts will be on hand during the sessions to offer tips, help with challenging techniques, and ensure you maintain consistent seam allowances and precise cutting.
  • Finishing with Flair: By the end of the program (e.g., after 12 months), you'll have a collection of blocks for a full quilt top, or maybe even multiple smaller projects, all completed at a manageable pace.

  • Budget-Friendly: Spread the cost of materials over time by purchasing fabric and supplies only for the blocks you are making that month. Our HYPERION Block of the Month is starting soon and still has spaces available!
  • Community: Connect with like-minded quilters, share your passion, and celebrate everyone's success in a supportive environment.

Club Details
  • When: The Last Sunday of the Month, 1-3:30, Sign Up for ALL or ANY of the Meetings
  • Where: Your favorite place on earth! Cottonwood!  In the Classroom!
  • Cost: Free
  • What to Bring: Your sewing machine, basic quilting tools (rotary cutter, mat, ruler), your chosen pattern, and fabric for your monthly block.
