7" Color Touch Panel:
Just like on a smartphone or tablet, intuitively select and edit patterns, change various settings, and access instructional videos. With only the most important and frequent used operations available, the layout and user-friendliness of icons are revolutionary.
Built-In Instructional Videos:
View instructional videos on your smartphone by scanning the QR code of the specific instruction you need. From the screen, you may also select the title of the operating procedure that you want to view. An animation will show on screen with instructions.
Visualization of Settings & Adjustments:
Changes in settings and adjustments can be visualized through animation. Adjust the thread tension by sliding your finger over the scale in front of the touch panel. The animation changes according to the adjustment value. Settings that differ from default is highlighted in blue.
Store and Recall Stitches:
The last 10 stitches are stored in the stitch history. View illustrations of stitch patterns in the history folder to identify and select them with a single touch.
Presser Foot Pressure Adjustment
In addition to the popular stitch width and length adjustment dials, you may adjust the presser foot pressure with an additional dial below the touch panel. Being able to change the presser foot pressure while sewing allows you to immediately respond to uneven stitching and feeding.
Drop Feed
The feed dog can be raised and lowered with the press of a button. Perform free-motion quilting and free-hand embroidery with ease. A transparent quilt presser foot makes the needle visible and can be used for ruler work.
Bobbin Thread Sensor:
An optical sensor notifies you when the bobbin thread reaches a certain amount. Sew with confidence without worrying about the remaining amount of thread.
Change Light Temperature:
Adjust the color temperature of the light bulb between daylight (white) and soft white (yellow toned). This feature helps eliminate visibility difficulties with certain fabric and thread color combinations.
Scan QR Code for Instructional Videos:
You can view an instructional video on your smartphone by scanning the QR code of the operating procedure you would like to view.
JUKI SmartFeed (Built-In Dual Feed):
Engage the JUKI Smart Feed dual feed function to move the top layer of your fabric in sync with the lower layer. Adjust the feed amount by 0.2mm for beautiful stitching without worry of shifting layered fabrics.
Sew Tapering:
Increased range for the angle and direction settings have expanded the possibilities for sewing tapering. Select the angle and direction. You may also set a stitch length in advance or store the length of the stitches that were sewn. By using the memory and inversion functions, star-shaped appliques are finished beautifully.
Interchangeable Straight Stitch Feed System:
Effortlessly switch to perfect straight stitch sewing with revolutionary Interchangeable Feed System. Create perfect stitches from beginning to end. No pulling, bunching, or pushing fabrics into the needle opening. Smooth handling for perfect piecing, close edges, curves, layers, and more. Perfection!
Various Presser Foot Lifting Functions:
Now equipped with the same mechanism as JUKI industrial sewing machines for preventing uneven sewing on quilts and velvet, as well as stretched stitches on knit fabrics. The presser dial allows you to raise the presser foot slightly to prevent uneven feeding and achieve a beautiful finish. Other functions include feed dogs can lower automatically when the presser foot is raised to add an extra lift with the knee lifting lever. This prevents the fabric from getting caught on the feed dog and allows the fabric to be taken in and out smoothly. Third function is the pivot function which allows you to easily change the sewing direction while leaving both hands on the fabric, for example, when sewing corners of appliques.
Beautiful Buttonholes:
Create beautiful buttonholes with the clamping plate and sensor. This provides a reliable feeding even on thick fabrics and seams, and automatically corrects the left and right seam densities.
