This unlined, oversized jacket can be sewn in two ways: as a semi-cropped jacket with shaped side pockets or as a longer car coat that has front patch pockets with flaps. Both versions have a dramatic oversized collar, a substantial front crossover so the jacket will give you coverage without any closures, and dropped sleeves for a relaxed look. It's a versatile topper that complements many outfits.
Choose lightweight linen, canvas, or denim for a fun, breezy spring and summer jacket, then sew it again using a heavier wool coating for a cozy version that will carry you through fall and winter. This jacket is intentionally oversized. For a more fitted jacket you might want to sew one size smaller.

Cancellation Policy
- All classes require registration and prepayment. Please check our website for our full class offering.
- Classes may be canceled for low registration or for events outside of our control (weather, etc.) - if this occurs, a full refund will be offered to any registered participants.
- There are no refunds for class cancellations. Any cancellations made 72 hours prior to the start of the class will be offered a “class credit” valid for six (6) months. There is no guarantee that the same class will be offered, and class credits are not transferable to store credit.
- Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the class start or no shows will forfeit their registration fees in their entirety.
COMPLETING REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT FOR A CLASS INDICATES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CLASS POLICIES.
