Jelly Roll Rug Make-along Class - February

Jelly roll rugs are fun and easy to make! In just a few hours, you have a beautiful rug to give as a gift or to keep for yourself. They're even more fun to make with some friends, seeing what everyone comes up with! Get help with each step if you need it! 

Supply list for class:

• Jelly Roll Rug Pattern (included with class registration)
• 1 Jelly Roll (42 strips of 2.5" x width of fabric) or 42 strips of 2.5 x WOF from your scraps or stash
• Batting cut in 2.25" strips---need approximately 50 yards long of 2.25" strips (pre-cut batting can be purchased at the shop for an additional fee).
• A sewing machine that can sew a zig zag stitch
• Rotary Cutter
• Small cutting mat
• Clover folding tool (optional, and available in store)

Class prep:

Come to class with your strips of batting cut and your jelly roll strips sewn together end-to-end with a diagonal seam (see image in description). This will make one long strip of fabric that is 2 1/2" wide.  You do not need to sew your strips of batting.
