Journalography is a one-day class focused on using mixed media techniques to create art journal spreads. These pages are not about using text to express your thoughts and feelings but rather about unleashing your artist voice though visual expression. Working in your current or an all-new journal, we will start by using the Gel Plate to create backgrounds with depth that will serve as the perfect base to work over. We will then add paint, collage, stamps, stencils, and handmade marks to build our pages layer by layer. I will share my journal process which includes clustering, extending, integrating, contrasting, and more. Although the process will be the same for all participants, the end result will be unique to each of you as we work together to enable you to work more freely, tap into your artistic voice, and let your creativity spill on the page.
