A great use for jelly roll strips or scraps. These bags are addictive to make – and are available in two smaller sizes for future projects.

Class Details
Project: One large, sturdy, and stylish Mondo Bag (measuring about 10" square at the base with 17" tall sides).
Skill Level: Ideal for confident beginners and experienced quilters alike—basic sewing machine skills and familiarity with quarter-inch piecing are recommended.
What to Bring: Your sewing machine, basic sewing notions, and your prepped fabric squares and pattern (see our supply list).

Pattern and 2 Quiltsmart Mondo bag panels (included in class fee, $30 value. You will receive the pattern during the class.)

- 192 precut 2-1/2 inch squares (if using jelly roll, you need 12 – 13 strips, subcut to 2.5" square)
1-1/4 yard lining fabric (includes handles)- 1-1/4 yard fusible fleece for lining and handles.
- Pressing cloth (to prevent getting adhesive on your iron)
- Iron and pressing surface.
NOTE: we have several ironing boards and irons in the classroom to borrow but this class requires a lot of ironing and it would be beneficial to bring your own small or full sized iron and wool mat or small iron mat to have at your station.
Cancellation Policy
- All classes require registration and prepayment. Please check our website for our full class offering.
- Classes may be canceled for low registration or for events outside of our control (weather, etc.) - if this occurs, a full refund will be offered to any registered participants.
- There are no refunds for class cancellations. Any cancellations made 72 hours prior to the start of the class will be offered a “class credit” valid for six (6) months. There is no guarantee that the same class will be offered, and class credits are not transferable to store credit.
- Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the class start or no shows will forfeit their registration fees in their entirety.
