Project Jelly Roll is an annual celebration held on the third Saturday of September, and this year it’s happening on September 19th! It's the perfect excuse to grab your favorite Jelly Roll and turn those strips into something truly special. Whether you're a seasoned quilter or just getting started, Jelly Rolls are one of our favorite precuts to whip up a gorgeous project in no time! Rugs, tote bags, quilts, wall hangings...anything goes!
Cottonwood is holding a special get together from 3-8 on Saturday night in the classroom. We will stream something on the big screen (TBD), sew, help each other, inspire each other and get some jelly roll sewing done! Get something made for the holidays! When do you have five hours of sewing time with friends!? This is the night!
There are LOTS of free patterns for jelly rolls on the Moda website -- as they are the owners of the term "jelly roll"! We have lots of jelly rolls at the shop too! you can also make your own jelly roll at home by cutting 2.5" x width-of-fabric from your stash. Forty-two strips makes a jelly roll. We also have a studio accuquilt cutter in the classroom with a 2.5" dye cutter if you want to use that!
Feel free to bring dinner or order from one of the restaurants in our plaza: Szechuan, Subway, Sr. Chiles...or across the street at Little Carmines!
Cancellation Policy
- All classes require registration and prepayment. Please check our website for our full class offering.
- Classes may be canceled for low registration or for events outside of our control (weather, etc.) - if this occurs, a full refund will be offered to any registered participants.
- There are no refunds for class cancellations. Any cancellations made 72 hours prior to the start of the class will be offered a “class credit” valid for six (6) months. There is no guarantee that the same class will be offered, and class credits are not transferable to store credit.
- Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the class start or no shows will forfeit their registration fees in their entirety.
COMPLETING REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT FOR A CLASS INDICATES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CLASS POLICIES.
