The Q16, Q20 and Q24 can all be used on the Bernina 5' thru 13' based upon your needs and available space.  With each of those options (except the 5' frame), Qmatic can be added for both free motion and automated quilting.  All machines are also capable of free motion quilting on the frame when Qmatic is present as well.

The BERNINA Q 16 PLUS, Q 20 and Q 24 are longarm quilting machines and only differ in the length of the throat space.

  • Throat space of Q 24: 24 inches
  • Throat space of Q 20: 20 inches
  • Throat space of Q 16 PLUS: 16 inches

For the Q 24 and Q 20, BERNINA offers the quilting frame in three sizes: "Small PRO", "Classic PRO" and "Large PRO". The BERNINA Studio Frame is suitable for use with the Q 16 PLUS and Q 20.

Cancellation Policy 

  • All classes require registration and prepayment. Please check our website for our full class offering.
  • Classes may be canceled for low registration or for events outside of our control (weather, etc.) - if this occurs, a full refund will be offered to any registered participants.
  • There are no refunds for class cancellations. Any cancellations made 72 hours prior to the start of the class will be offered a “class credit” valid for six (6) months. There is no guarantee that the same class will be offered, and class credits are not transferable to store credit.
  • Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the class start or no shows will forfeit their registration fees in their entirety.
