The ByAnnie Ultimate Travel Bag is the perfect carry-on companion, featuring a trolley sleeve, comfortable carrying straps, and specialized pockets. Because of its multi-layered construction and specialized hardware, this is an intermediate-level course and is not suitable for beginners.

To succeed, you must bring a high-quality, heavy-duty sewing machine and know how to operate it confidently. Your machine must be capable of sewing through multiple thick layers of fabric, foam, and webbing.

COURSE OVERVIEW

IMPORTANT PRE-CLASS REQUIREMENT: All students must have all fabric, foam, and stabilizers completely cut out and labeled prior to the first day of class. We will begin assembly immediately on Day 1.

Day 1: Quilting & Component Preparation
Quilt your main fabric and lining to the foam stabilizer. Construct the main components, including the custom carrying straps, handles, and trolley sleeve.

Day 2: Pockets, Zippers, and Panels
Construct the interior mesh pockets, exterior zippered pockets, and assemble the front, back, and side panels.

Day 3: Final Assembly & Binding
Join the multi-layered panels together, insert the base stabilizer, and finish the raw edges with bias binding.

Please procure all supplies prior to the first day of class. Reminder: All pieces must be cut ahead of time.
